Back in Berlin

Endlich wieder in Berlin. Durch meinen Florida-Aufenthalt war ich nun schon 1,5 Jahre nicht mehr zu Besuch. Eine lange Zeit, wenn man sonst ca 3 - 4 mal im Jahr die Hauptstadt besucht hat. Falls ihr mir auf Instagram folgt, konntet ihr bestimmt unsere hammer Suite begutachten! Aber hey, ein Balkon mit dran und die Raucherin haste eh in der Tasche...

Jedenfalls hat die Fernbeziehung, zwischen mir und Berlin, überdauert. Auch nach langer Trennung haben wir beiden uns noch lieb. Naja, ich sie zumindest. Ich weiß auch gar nicht so recht was es ist, das ich so anziehend finde. Manche erinnert Berlin an New York. Finde ich absolut nicht!
Für mich ist New York eine interessante Persönlichkeit, die mitten im Leben steht und weiß was sie will und ist einfach toll und einzigartig dabei. Berlin, im Vergleich, ist für mich eher noch nicht ganz der Pupertät entwachsen. Sie findet gerade erst heraus was sie will und ändert dabei öfter mal die Meinung, aber mit viel Spaß am Austoben.

Das sehen andere Leute natürlich anders und ich bin auch kein Berlin-Pro. Ich meine aber gehört zu haben, das Berlin so ähnlich sein soll wie das New York der 80er Jahre. Vielleicht ist es dass was mich immer wieder hinzieht, aber nicht verweilen lässt. Das Gefühl der Beständigkeit fehlt mir. Aber ich komme immer wieder gerne zum Austoben vorbei.


/ Finally back in Berlin. Because of my Florida-stay, I was not there for 1,5 year. A long time, when you are used to visit the capital 3 - 4 times a year. If you follow me on Instagram, you propably saw our stunning suite there, allready! But hey, a room with a balcony for the smoker and you got me...

Anyway, the long-distance relationship, between me and Berlin, survived. Even, after a long time no see, we´re both still in love. Well, at least I am. I don´t really know what is so appealing to me. Some people reminds Berlin to New York. I dont think so at all!
For me, New York is an interesting personality who knows what she wants and is just great and unique while she´s stright on her way. Berlin, in comparison, for me is more like not outgrown of puberty. She try to find her way and what she wants, while changing her mind a couple of times. But allways ready to have a good, fun time.

Different people, different opinions and I'm not a Berlin-Pro. But, I think I´ve heard that Berlin is quite similar to New York in the 80s. Maybe its that what brings me back to the city again and again, but never makes me stay. I miss the stability. But I will allways come back for having a good time.
