See you next weekend munich

Der Countdown läuft! Dieses Wochenende werde ich mich das erste Mal in meinem Leben auf den Wiesn Blicken lassen. Als ich noch in den USA gearbeitet habe, waren die Gäste immer ganz irritiert das ich als Deutsche noch nie da war. Das ist wohl überall auf der Welt so: Das was am nächsten dran ist besichtigt man als letztes. Ich habe z.B. auch Amis getroffen die noch nie in New York oder Las Vegas waren. Anyway, ich freue mich sehr auf das Wochenende in München und darauf liebe Gesichter wieder zu sehen. Auf die Stadt an sich vielleicht so gar ein bisschen mehr als auf das Fest. Versteht mich nicht falsch… Ich denke dass man das Oktoberfest auf jeden Fall einmal mitgemacht haben muss, auch weil ich mich anziehen kann wie eine Faschingsprinzessin und es irgendwie doch nicht zu kitschig ist :-D Ich könnte mir aber auch vorstellen das die Malle-Atmo vielleicht nicht so ganz meins eins. Natürlich lasse ich mich gerne eines besseren belehren. Über Instagram werde ich euch auf dem Laufenden halten. Jetzt zu meinem Outfit: Als ich angefangen habe mir Dirndl auszusuchen dachte ich zuerst an eine Schwarz/Rot Kombi. Schwarz weil in generell gerne Schwarz trage und Rot weil es dann zu meinen oft rot geschminkten Lippen passt. Bei der Suche habe ich viele solcher Kleidchen gesehen und war auch kurz davor eins zu bestellen. DOCH dann hab ich ein rosa Dirndl von Krüger Madl gesehen und es war Liebe! Leider für mich etwas zu teure Liebe, aber ab da war mir klar: Ich möchte einmal komplett in rosa sein! Das Dirndl fand ich so süß und mädchenhaft das ich es unter normalen Umständen niemals tragen würde. Also wenn nicht als Dirndl zur Wiesn, wann dann? Bei Kleiderkreisel habe ich ein günstigeres gefunden und bin auch sehr zufrieden damit. Die Bluse von Stockerpoint kostet sonst ca 30€, konnte diese aber auch für einen Bruchteil bei ebay ergattern. Meinen Rosenhaarreif hatte ich mir vor ca. 2 Jahren selbst gebastelt und noch keinmal getragen. Ich finde das er schön mit dem rosa Kleid harmoniert, außerdem habe ich mitbekommen das Blumenkränze und Blumen allgemein dieses Jahr Trend auf den Wiesn sein sollen. Passt also….Samstag gibt’s den Praxistest! Tummeln sich einige von euch eigentlich auch auf den Wiesn?

/ The countdown has started! This weekend will be the first time in my life that I visit the octoberfest. When I was still working in the United States, the guests were always quite irritated that I, as a German, nerver been there. Probably it`s the same all over the world: The closest places around you, you visit the last. I know people in the U.S. who`ve never been to New York or Las Vegas. Anyway, I'm looking forward to a nice weekend in Munich and to see lovely, familiar faces again. Maybe I`m even a bit more excited to see munich instead of the Wiesn. Don`t get me wrong ... I think that you must have seen the oktoberfest once, also because you can wear clothes like a carnival princess and for somehow its is not too cheesy:-D But I think that the party atmosphere could be a little trashy and I`m not sure if I`m so much into this. But I`ll make my own picture of it and I´ll keep you updated by Instagram. Now to my outfit: When I started to pick out a Dirndl-Dress I thought of a black/red combo at first. Black because in general I like to wear black and red because it would fit perfectly to my red lipstick I use a lot. While searching I have seen many dresses like that and was about to order one. BUT then I saw a pink dirndl by Kruger Madl and I felt in love! Unfortunately, it was a bit too expensive for me but from that point it was clear: I want a complete pink look! The dress I found was so sweet and girlish that I would never wear it in regular circumstances. I`ve found another nice one at Vinted. It was a lot cheaper and am very happy with it. The blouse by Stockerpoint costs regular about 30€, but I was able to get this for 12,50€ at ebay. My rose-headband is DIV from 2 years ago and I still not worn it once. I think that it looks good together with the beautiful pink dress, also I've noticed that floral-heatbands and flowers in general will be a trend at the octoberfest this year. Saturday I will do the proof for example! Is anyone of you also at the Oktoberfest?
